The IEEE Photonics Society is providing more travel grant opportunities than ever to encourage early career participation at the IEEE Photonics Conference (IPC 2019). Students pursuing degrees and early career professionals in photonics and optics fields of interest are encouraged to apply!
A total of 50 grantees will receive $2,500 USD for travel, lodging expenses and registration to the IEEE Photonics Conference.
Student & Young Professional Travel Grants
An applicant should be:
A full time, degree seeking student, i.e. undergrad, graduate, post-doc, etc., or early career professional up to 15 years post first degree.
An IEEE Photonics Society Member.
Sponsored by an advisor, professor, mentor or direct supervisor.
Women in Photonics Travel Grants
An applicant should be:
An woman student, i.e. undergrad, graduate, post-doc, etc., early career, and/or volunteer for the IEEE Women in Photonics program. Men and gender minorities may also inclusively apply, if they are active volunteers supporting the IEEE Women in Photonics initiative.
An IEEE Photonics Society Member.
